Aight, so this was supposed to be one of those great days in Toni’s life. I woke up at 5:40am for like the 5th time in the past week (yea I know, I’m a freak). Played some poker and got some winnings too before closing it down and heading to kitchen to grab some breakfast. Then my mom woke up (oh yea, I live at my parents until I leave for exchange and have been living since late October, my knee you see) and suggested that we should go a buy that jacket I had been planning to get for a while now. I’m not really a shopper and unlike from other people, I usually go to a store, see what they have to offer… Then weigh in the pros and the cons before checking out the price. Then just grab it with me and get the fuck out of there. So unlike, umm lets say girls, it doesn’t take hours for me to buy something. Though I guess that’s how guys shop so I guess I’m pretty normal then.

I got some candy and chips from the market to eat during the day. So when I finally got home at 11am, I sat down with my laptop. 4 hours until Footstar game so I decided to watch the new Stargate Atlantis and Psych episodes. By the time I had finished those (and held a few chats open and active for the time being), it was time for the game. We went down 1-0 and it looked shit throughout the game. I couldn’t stand it anymore so enough of that… I don’t want to talk about it.

Then, Liverpool game started and I opened the myp2p website and picked the stream for my liking. The stream was weak at the beginning , but got better and more stable along the way. My eyes froze… Liverpool down 0-1 at Anfield. What the fuck! It wouldn’t matter much at that point, but the opposite team was a Conference team which is like 4 levels down (out of 4). Then Lucas tied the game nicely with a nice and accurate shot from 20 meters in the back corner. One thing propably never leaves my mind: Sami Hyypiä challenged the winger on the left, got the ball barely before going out of bounds and started running down the left. Excuse my exaggeration, but “I was yelling Sami, Sami Sami in my room!”
Anyway, we won the game 5-2 eventually, but cheez… Hicks&Gillett&Parry can go fuck themselves if you ask me! A-holes are trying to take the whole organization down with their clown business. Especially Hicks, who’s been mouthing off the past month quite actively and even stated something like this (not from word-to-word): “Some think Liverpool takes the revenue from Dallas (Stars in NHL), but it’s quite the opposite. Dallas will be using the revenue from Liverpool.”. Fucker!
And Parry… I really didn’t know this guy until this season started and he picked the Hicks&Gillett pair instead of DIC (Dubai Investment C-something). But apparently he’s the guy to blame for this ridiculous act and he’s been responsible of bringing the transfer budget for the manager to get new players. Well, you haven’t done a good job now, haven’t you…

So in brief:
- Fuck the new Liverpool owners, get DIC to the rescue!
- Fuck Footstar, get the match engine fixed
- Sign a quality player Liverpoo, thanks
- I think I need sleep… getting a bit cranky

I hanged my brain in the rack again yesterday and rolled a clip called Beer League. Surprisingly (not) the plot isn’t anything from a low blow and it really hurts to watch how it develops just the way you’d think it would. I guess this is one of those movies where the viewer is totally underestimated. But in all goodness of the heart, Artie Lang is fucking great! He fits so well in the role of a drunk guy that you can’t tell if he’s acting or not. Other than that… Good and funny dialogs, that’s it.
