Uaaaahhhh! Time for an update again I suppose?
I got a few thing I want to talk about so here we go:
Summer vacation is over. I spent it in Tornio mostly playing tennis and football. Needless to say I had shitloads of fun and it ended to my good friend’s wedding last Sunday. I had a blast the past 2 months and now I just got to wait for next summer… Unless…:
I’ve applied to study exchange. Target? Oh, yea…Singapore
But this is still under investigation as it’s not for sure that I’m able to go since it’s not only about me. It’s the school taking me and the school I’m at that need to approve it. But fingers crossed
The Finnish TV is starting to show all these winter time reality series again. Now lets talk about, umm lets say, Big Brother… FUCK!
Now for the next 3-4 months it’s going to be BB all over with headlines: “Mr. X gave a fingering to Ms. Y while she was asleep!”, “What’s in Mr. X’s mind?”… WHO THE FUCK CARES?! Apart from you bitches (not talking about women only), respectively ![]()
Damn I hate those reality-tv shit. I remember back in -99 or so when BB was just a vision and there were no reality-tv on at all. I remember the day even. I was at my summer job when I heard it on the radio. Some people were planning to start a serie where participants were put in a house and monitored 24/7. Now the idea sounded good back then. And the concept isn’t as bad as it sounds, but the media hustle around it has gotten enormous and off limits!
And on we go… School starting again. I started my Flash course yesterday for developing animation to websites or just presentations. Pretty simple once you get into it, but the programming part is the hard one. I have been looking into it on my freetime lately.
Now… Not that I don’t like the woman body or anything… “au contraire” ![]()
I read an article about this Australian minister who had seen a Pussycat Dolls music video while doing his work out at the gym. He seems to think that the PCD music videos are provocative and thinks that the band’s music videos and live performances are nothing, but a lingerie shows instead of a band performing.
Now, I do second to that… I agree them being provocative and I hate today’s world for it’s materialism. Everything has sex in it or somehow the issue is connected to admiring beauty. Sure we all (well at least the majority) prefer to see beautiful girls instead of big greasy and hairy guys advertising the brand new product by L’Oreal, Calvin Klein or any other huge brand around. But somehow I’m sick of the way everything is made sexy and how small teenage girls start doing make-up when they’re just 11 years old. I mean c’mon… Is that what we want our little kids to turn out? Sure we men like watching women. They’re sexy and a pleasure for the eye. But I bet none of the fathers wish to see their little princesses, aged around lets say 13, go to school using those high heel shoes, small skirts and tops on them looking like models that young boys look at whistling from behind? Not me to say the least!
