Language Skills
- Finnish - native language
This was pretty much decided the moment I was conceived I guess. I'm Finnish and this is my native language.
- English - fluent written and spoken
Movies, music, television... As a young boy you're prone to learn new things so easily. Well for me this was a good thing and I actually spoke decent English before I started it in school on 7th grade.
- Swedish - good written and average spoken
I have plenty of relatives living in Sweden and when I was younger, we had the chance to pick either English or Swedish to be our 1st foreign language in school. My parents thought it would be a good idea to start studying Swedish and so I did. I studied it as my only foreign language from 3rd to 6th grade.
- Slovak - beginner written and spoken
During my exchange studies in Bratislava in 2008, we had the chance to take a basic Slovak language course. I didn't hesitate and though I had some troubles in the beginning, I think I did really well. Now I haven't used it too much and I've forgotten most of it, hence the beginner level.
- Spanish - beginner written and spoken
Since I was a teenager, I've wanted to some day live in Spain. I also think Spanish is a lovely language so when we had the chance to select it as one of our couses in high school, I took it. I only took a couple of courses (a long with French actually!), but I always remember the verb test we had and I got an A from it :P
