Top browser extensions: Adblock Plus

If you've never heard of this extension, you're either living under a rock or just don't care about your browsing experience. What it does is basically hides all the common advertisements on web pages while offering a easy to use interface to block items. What you need is just to install the extension and once you've restarted the browser, select a list to use. Easylist has been working just fine for me :)

Top browser extensions: QuickTranslator

Google Translate is a fine tool, but if you're too lazy like myself, then you want to use this one.
You simply select the text in your Firefox and get a small nice icon below your mouse that you can click. It opens a nice floating translation box on your bottom right corner with the translation :)

If you want to work around with the languages, you need to check the settings. I've set them to autodetect -> English :)

Top browser extensions: Firegestures

I hate clicking the back button in my Firefox and instead love using my mouse going back and forth as I'm lying on my left hand with my chin, opening new tabs, closing new tabs and just browsing around. Later complaining about my wrist hurting like hell of course :)

If you would like to give Firegestures a try, check out Firegestures ;)

Top browser extensions: Read It Later

We all have trouble at times to remember some websites we were supposed to check later. Writing it down to a paper, putting a memo on your phone, sending the link via e-mail to yourself... Plenty of ways to remind yourself, but then you just forget :)

A while ago I spotted this magnificent extension for my Firefox called Read It Later. It requires registration, but if you're like me and could use this kind of feature, it's worth the trouble. Just install the extension to your preferred platform (Firefox, iPhone, Android, other browsers and mobile supported) and sign up!

I guarantee it'll make your live a lot easier :)

Top browser extensions: Better Facebook!

To continue with the extensions, here's a tip for Facebook users.

As we all know, there are tons of annoying things in Facebook such as the news feed itself. It's often filled with useless crap and personally I hate having shitloads of game updates etc over there. This is where this extension comes in. It's available for most popular browsers (IE not supported).

PS: You can actually see who removed you from friends as well ;)
