I sure hope this will not happen. For the sake of the club, if you loan this player for the second season in row, he will not be interested to come back to Liverpool. If he stays with us now, he will still stand a chance to kick start his Liverpool career but a loan move would kill it once and for all.
Aquilani is a top notch player who Hodgson in all his wisdom decided to loan out to Juventus only to play a great season of football there. Then coming back... Oh no, this is the year he either plays for us or is sold. I rather sell him for £10 mil than loan him to Fiorentina. But in all honesty, I can't see much of him playing in 'Pool either with Adam, Henderson and Downing coming in this summer. Sure not all play in the same role as Aquilani, but with modern football the roles are not as clear as they used to be.
