Oh yea! It’s finally here and damn it feels like my smile goes all the way from mouth to ears and down to my ass. That’s how much I love this feeling! I’m now a Bachelor of Business Information Technology or at least that’s what I wrote to my thesis so I suppose it says so in my diploma as well. Can’t be arsed to check :)

Oh and no, it’s not all there! Got myself tickets to Florida in January for 5 full weeks. Finally a getaway from this cold hellhole and -20 degrees winter! And snow, don’t even get me started. It’s finally time to say arrideverci to all the snow for 5 weeks and welcome a city of 360 sunny days in a year, St Petersburg, FL!

Now there’s only one thing to do for now… BEER, PLEASE! :P

Will start sorting out the graduation party and travelling issues next week. Now I can’t be much bothered to give a damn about any worries :D

I got a letter yesterday from my school stating that I’ve been giving an extension to finish my studies!

This is excellent news as I’m alread so close to finishing it. The extension was given until the end of year 2009. Right now with the training done tomorrow, I have 43 credits missing. With thesis taken out, that’s 28 credits which is like less than 10 courses to take care of in the next 6 months.
Problem however lies in the fact that I’ve no idea how the courses are organized. They better be during autumn or I’ll be missing them. I do have 2-3 courses to do during summer and I’m waiting for my teacher’s assignment on networks (been waiting for 2 months). All these summer courses and the network thingy would bring me about 12 credits. So I’m pretty much just missing the programming courses.

Hopefully I will get everything done in time! :P

Well, as surprising as it may seem, I’m finally got to the stage where I had to start thinking about graduating and along graduation comes thesis. So when I had a chat with my teacher about my future studies, we came to an agreement that I’d be working on my thesis during summer. This is because I want to do so. Working during summer is good financially, but who the hell wants to work on school stuff after a day of working. So I said to my teacher that I’d do it during summer.

My practical training ends on Friday and after that I’ve about 3 months of holiday until courses start again. So during summer I’ll be working on my thesis and I chose to take a couple of courses that can be done at home. A Swedish course and this other course about IT systems. I also tried to get an English course, but couldn’t catch the teacher. But my priority will be on the thesis… though it’s not that rough really to be  honest.

Thesis is about consulting a new website for this dog breeding company. Not sure if dog breeding is the term to use here, so pardon me for insulting anyone :)
So I’ll be doing a few website design layouts and investigate on the possibilities on how to make their current website a bit more fascinating and modern. That means finding out possible CMS systems (if any) and working on different coloured layouts. Right now I’ve been thinking of Cutenews and Wordpress as the CMS, but we’ll see what I come up with :)

That’s about it…

Oh and the graduation… Well assuming that I get to stay in school (running out of years to study again), less than a year :)
